This remote stretch of beach between Malibu and Oxnard, backed by 130ft (209m) cliffs, was the location for the last twenty minutes of Planet Of The Apes. As usual Roddy McDowall was there with his movie camera to capture some precious images of the making of this science fiction masterpiece.
Featuring Charlton Heston, Franklin J. Schaffner, Linda Harrison, Kim Hunter, Lou Wagner, Maurice Evans and various cast and crew.
